Feature Films
To date BYFA has produced nineteen feature length films: Friends of Money, The Last British Execution, Olivia Twist, Faust’s Growth, The Rochdale Pioneers, Self Same Sky, Richard II, Henry IV Part 1, Henry V, Upstaged, Treasure of Albion, The School That Roared, Re-Evolution, As You Like It, The Perfect Burger, The Limelight, Julius Caesar, All the Ordinary Angels and Hamlin - and currently has the 2016 film The Hellions in post-production. We have engaged performers such as Brian Blessed, Todd Carty, Pauline Quirke, Chris Ellison, Alexei Sayle, Clive Mantle, David Yip, Hildergarde Neil, Gareth Hale, Norman Pace, Ray Lonnen, Ros Blesssed, Richard Brimblecombe, Carol Harrison, Norman Lovett, Phil Cool, Lucy Gaskell, Mark Bonnar and Georgia Taylor. Our professional crews have experience from projects such as Goldeneye, 24 Hour Party People, 51st State, Hornblower, Cold Feet, The Commander and Foyle’s War.
Over the last twelve years, students from Kirklees College, Stoke on Trent College, Burton College, Wigan and Leigh College, Yale College, MMU Cheshire, Grimsby Institute, North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, South Cheshire College, Runshaw College, Accrington and Rossendale College, Bradford College, Shrewsbury College, Staffordshire University, Knowsley Community College, Central College Nottingham, ALRA, Blackpool Sixth and Wolverhampton College have taken key roles in our films through their membership of BYFA.
